And then there were two...

It was almost a year ago when my sister's bubba was born.

It's always exciting when a new baby arrives, but that was even more special because it was the first time I became an Auntie to a little tiny baby.  In this past (almost) year of being a baby's Auntie I've discovered what a fabulous thing it is to be.  Lots of cuddles, lots of fun play times, very little of the wailing and none of the sleepless nights.

So when the news came that another little bundle of joy had arrived, I was primed and waiting with my Aunty act all ready to go.   Of course I had a crafty little something up my sleeve ready to go too.  My Clamshell Baby Blanket, that I talked about here.

I couldn't resist getting a few other teeny sized goodies to go along with it too.  Well, it's half the fun isn't it?  Being able to buy some cute little clothes and things?

We visited the days old little dot at the weekend and she stayed sound asleep the whole time, as newborns tend too do, so plenty of cuddles to go round.  I don't suppose it'll seem a moment before this teeny tiny stage is over, and the new parents are enjoying every moment so far.

So my congratulations to them both on their beautiful baby girl.

Of course, I can't forget my big baby niece either, and so I have a little something for her too.  She'll probably need it, with these chilly 'summer' days we're enjoying lately.
