The Cherry Heart Blanket Along Winners

The blankets have been posted, the votes have been cast, and very soon it will be time to announce the wonderful winner of the 2015 Cherry Heart Blanket Along....

But first I just want to take a moment to say thank you to absolutely everyone who took part and made this whole thing a massive success and such an enjoyable 'along' to be part of.

The Ravelry Blanket Along thread has been humming with activity and the Instagram #CHBAL tag has been racking up photo after beautiful photo.  It's been amazing to see and so, so inspirational too.  All you wonderful crafters have knocked my wooly socks off, you really have.  So thank you very much.

And now the winners...

The thread has been locked, the votes have been counted and verified (by Hubs) and the results are in

The winner of the first prize is

Sara12
(He loves me blanket)

And the four runners up, each receiving a free Cherry Heart pattern, are

CuppaCrochet
(Spring Grannies)

Aqmommy
(Weekender Blanket)

Loopandbar
(Sunshine Blanket)

Adelecrochet2
(Giant Square)

Congratulations to all the lovely winners!

(I'll be sending out messages to each of you on Ravelry today, or you can leave me a comment below and I'll contact you by email if you prefer and then the prizes can be distributed.)

Thank you once again to everyone who took part, you've completely made my month!

Oh and for those of you still working away on your blankets and enjoying the Ravelry thread, I'll be leaving the 'Blanket Along' thread open in the Cherry Heart Group so that you can keep cheering each other on and you can keep tagging your photos with the #CHBAL tag on Instagram too if you wish.

  12. This is the precise weblog for anybody who needs to seek out out about this topic. You notice so much its almost arduous to argue with you. You positively put a brand new spin on a subject that's been written about for years. Nice stuff, simply nice!

  13. Stunning blankets! Huge congrats to all the winners! I was v glad to see my fave blanket by Cuppacrochet on the winners list :-) I thought the colours were fab. I also enjoyed having a read of the Cuppacrochet and Loopandbar's blogs. Such a great idea Sandra, I didn't get organised to join in, but you did motivate me to pull out the few squares I designed on my summer hols last year. I was v happy with the design but Autumn came along and the chalky cotton I was using didn't seem so appealing. Anyway, it's back on my hook now, I just need to figure out the stitches again as I didn't write the pattern down, doh! Happy Easter to you and your family, love Jo xxxx

  14. Very interesting blog. A lot of blogs I see these days don't really provide anything that attract others, but I'm most definitely interested in this one. Just thought that I would post and let you know.

  15. Congratulations to the winners, so many lovely blankets. I didn't finish mine but I did continue with a blanket that I'd more or less abandoned and made good progress with it so thank you Sandra for hosting and for the inspiration. Jane xx
