Easter treats

We've been enjoying all the usual kind of Easter treats around here.

*Eggs I knitted last year

The Easter tree is up and decorated.

My Huggie Bunnies performed very well in the egg hunt and my Little Miss did enjoy herself a great deal hunting high and low for her Easter treats.

There are lots of other chocolate presents to be enjoyed.

Lots of lovely fun for children.  But there have also been Easter treats for Mummies this year.  On Saturday, Daddy Dear and my lovely BIL took the children off on a trip to the zoo.  Which left me and my Sister the wonderful luxury of a day to ourselves!  What better to do than to hit the local crafty shops and stock up on goodies?

It turns out that our local John Lewis has re-vamped their haberdashery department, what a lovely unexpected bonus.  (Mummy got a few treats there.)  We also dropped into the wonderful Threads and Patches for a nice leisurely browse amongst the pretty fabrics, colourful threads and inspiring books.  Ahhh, heavenly!  (Mummy got a few treats there too.)

In fact, Mummy got a nice little haul and the fabric shelves are looking very healthy these days.

I have plenty of plans to use them too.  Although, not too quickly, I do like to feast my eyes on these sights for a good while.

What a Happy Easter indeed!

*The knitted eggs at the top, I made a few years ago using the Little Cotton Rabbits pattern. (Cause I'm sure some of you will want to know!)
