A Spicier Life CAL - Part 1

The day has finally arrived, the first pattern part is here at last, yay!

Yes, it seems I'm still a little excitable about this blanket crochet along, but after all the planning and preparation it so great that now things are really getting started in earnest.

The four lovely yarn packs have been available for a couple of weeks now, as has the 'Introduction' file which explains all you need to know about the pattern as well as lots of great tips and information to help you plan a successful project, so hopefully lots of you are ready to get stuck in.

I do just want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who has popped along to Black Sheep Wools (in person, or online) so far to purchase one of the yarn packs for this CAL.  It means so much to me that, not only do you like the colour combinations I came up with, but also that you'll been able to support this little venture of ours.

And also those of you have joined the Spicier Life Crochet Along Group and are sharing your plans and pictures online using the #SpicierLifeCAL tag.

You guys really make these types project possible, thank you so much!

So for those of you who have your yarn and hooks ready and waiting to go, you can download Part One of the pattern using the link below and leap into action.  I can't wait to see your pictures start to appear...

Don't worry if you haven't got your pack yet and still want to join in though, there is still plenty of time.  The downloadable files will stay online and you still have plenty of time to order your yarn and get started.  There's no rush with our CAL's.

Check out the Spicier Life CAL page for yarn pack options and all previous downloadable files.

  2. I am more of a knitter than crochet, but I do know how. This blanket looks amazing with the colours chosen. I have a tote full of yarns that could be used. Thank you for sharing this pattern. I may have to give it a try. :)
