How does your garden grow?

Exciting news today.

I think it's exciting anyway, I hope you do too.  Do you remember that I told you about my Quite Contrary Wrap and my Mary Mary Mitts, in this post here?  Well, the pattern is now available to buy.

And this time, because there are two patterns, I've released them together in a little 'eBook'.

What does that mean?

Well, it means you have options.  You can either buy:

The Quite Contrary Wrap Pattern on it's own.

The Mary Mary Mitts Pattern on it's own.

or

You can buy the 'How Does Your Garden Grow?' eBook
Which means you would get both patterns and get a nice little saving at the same time!

You can check out the links above for all the pattern information before you buy, or if you want to read the original post and see some more pictures, just click here.

And that's not all!

For a little while now I've been mulling over the idea  of starting a Cherry Heart Ravelry Group.

There's a few reasons, one of them being that it would be the perfect place to discuss the patterns and tutorials I have on here.  But not at all limited to that, everyone is welcome.

So when it came time to release this pattern, it seemed like a good time to start that group.

I'm thinking, I'm hoping, that it will be a place people can go to ask questions about patterns and yarn.  Somewhere to share pictures of lovely makes for everyone to coo over.  Somewhere, in short, where we could hang out together, curl up with a cuppa and chat about crafty things.

What do you think?  Do you fancy coming over to join me?

I'm putting the kettle on and looking for the biscuit tin as we speak.  I hope I'll see you there.

  1. Is there any way to purchase the patterns without being a ravelry member?

  2. Well there is only room for one attic 24 it seems - not sure why. I wonder how successful your ravelry group will be? Make sure people know its not just for people making these recent patterns. To my mind you have more original ideas and design ability than many others but like I said, it seems the spot is filled. I hope you give a good run for your money though. Good luck with your business. Charge good prices and keep pushing - you are entitled to be financially rewarded for your work (you will get people snipping but just ask them if they do their work for free?). Not everyone wants bright colours or blankets either so don't believe the hype! Wishing you well with your creative endeavors.

  3. Hi Amanda,

Well the patterns are sold through Ravelry, but you certainly don't need to be a member to buy. You can just click the links above and then click 'buy it now' button on the top right of their page. You won't be asked to sign up or anything. Or, if you prefer, you can visit my SHOP and click the 'buy it' buttons there which will take you direct to the checkout stage.
    I hope that helps!

  4. Hi Gemma,

Well, I'm a huge fan of Attic24, as I'm sure you'll see around this blog and really I'm sure I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Lucy's amazing creativity and inspiration. As for if there can be more than 'one Attic24', all I can say is it's a honour to even be compared to Lucy. I hope though that there is enough space in the whole of blogland to accommodate us both comfortably and I also hope that my style is different enough that I have something distinctive to offer. Although, I guess as we both love bright and beautiful crochet, there is plenty of overlap. But hey, I know we're not alone in loving those things!
Anyway, thanks so much for your comment and lovely well wishes. :D

  7. What a lovely idea to start a Cherry Heart's Cozy Corner on Ravelry! I'm sure there's room for everyone! It would be a shame if there was only space for one group and I feel you have masses of beautiful and original ideas to offer. You will soon get like-minded people rallying round you and I wish you a very cosy and chatty corner indeed - with lots of sharing and beautiful creations!
I love the soft creamy colour of your crocheted wrap and mitts!

  13. Thanks so much, so glad you think so. I must admit to being a bit worries that no-one would join, but I'm so pleased that people have so that's good news. I do hope that it will work out ok and there will be space for more than one group. I guess we'll find out! Thanks so much for your supportive comments though, I really appreciate it. :)
