Part 7
For the past six weeks we've been working on the squares for the blanket. Each one a small little project of it's own, but now it's time to start bringing things together and you can see just how much you have achieved so far.
This week we are going to be joining the squares together using a crochet join and there is a photo tutorial in the pattern to help you with this technique if you've never come across it before. We'll also be preparing for the border by working a little edging too.
There is also a layout diagram to show you exactly how I arranged all my squares in the original blanket. If you want to get creative and make a new arrangement, or for those of you using your own yarn and colours choices, I've left the grid in black and white. So you can play with the squares and colour the template with your own colours and to your own plan.
