Christmas Presents 6th December

It's the 6th December and it's time to open the next door on the Cherry Heart's Christmas Presents advent!

Today's new pattern is...

A set of cute little crochet picture frames!

: :

I made these quite a while ago, again for a magazine commission.  I did have them up in my old craft room for a while too.  You can use them for pictures of course, but I just added fabric to mine, some just to show off some favourites and some with a 'fussy cut' scrap as the centre piece.

There are a mixture of difficulties in the pattern, starting with a very simple round frame with a scalloped edge and working up to a more intricate design.  The stitches themselves stay fairly simple, it's the written pattern itself which become a little more tricky to follow I'd say.  Although nothing worse than an intermediate level.

I hope you enjoy them!

  1. These are lovely Sandra, thank you so much! Very pretty and practical too. I love them.Perfect for making up with my Christmas yarn that I am getting.

Thanks also for your lovely vlogmas videos. They are setting the scene beautifully in the lead up to Christmas. Your husband did make me laugh when he said Bertie looked like a tin of shortbread. You and your family all looked so happy and healthy out on your walk too. Also I must say your lovely daughter is doing very well on the baking front, and has impressive skills already and seems very confident. I love Christmas cake! It was really nice to 'meet' your family. Yours is my
very favouite vlogmas and I look forward to the videos. I am so enjoying them.

Thanks again for the Christmas presents. Very sweet of you!

  2. Hi Sandra,

    Have a lovely evening.

    Sweet greetings,
